Solicitation for General Aviation Operations Inspectors

We have openings for Aviation Safety Inspectors (General Aviation Operations Inspector) at the Will Rodgers Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. To qualify for further evaluation and consideration, you must show or state on a submitted resume the following information:

1. That you are a U.S. Citizen;
2. That you have registered with the Selective Service (required for males born after December 31,   2959);
3. That you have not more than two separate incidents involving Federal Aviation regulation violations in the last 5 years;
4. That you hold a valid State Driver’s License;
5. That you are fluent  in the English Language;
6. That you have no chemical dependencies or drug abuse that would interfere with job performance; and
7. That you have High School diploma or equivalent.

Additional qualifications that must be shown on the resume include the following:
 
1. That you hold valid FAA Commercial pilot certificate with Instrument airplane, and/or Airline Transport Pilot certificate (with Airplane Single and Multi-engine Land ratings).
2. That you hold a valid FAA Flight Instructor Certificate with Airplane Single, Multi-engine, and Instrument ratings.
3. That you hold a valid FAA second class medical certificate.
4. That you have logged at least 100 hours of flight time in the last 3 years;
5. That you have logged at least 1,500 hours total;
6. That you have logged at least 200 hours as a flight instructor in aircraft; and
7. That you have not had more than two (2) flying accidents in the last 5 years in which pilot error was involved.
Finally, your resume must include your past and/or present employment history:

a. Name of employer
b. Title of position held with the employer
c. Month and year of (from and to) employment
d. Hours worked per week for that employer
e. Detailed explanation or duty description for the position held with that employer.

 
Highly competitive starting pay up to $84,000 for qualified applicants.
