September Topic of the Month Preflight After Maintenance
Safer Flight Through A Better Understanding of Beneficial After-Maintenance Preflight Practices
Date and Time:
Monday, September 19, 2022, starting at 18:30 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Jay Seward, FAASTeam Representative
Brief Description:

How do you determine an aircraft is airworthy when you are flying after maintenance was done?  The requirements may be more than you learned when you learned to fly!  To make an airworthiness determination after maintenance you need to understand Type Certificates, Condition of Safe Operations, maintenance documentation and entries, limitations related to maintenance, and what to consider as you do a post-maintenance preflight.  This seminar covers those topics and more in hopes of clarifying an area of understanding that is so important to safe flight...the A in the PAVE acronym (Pilot, Aircraft, enVironment, External Pressures). Attend and safer flight should be in your future.
