Title:
ATC and You - David Versus Goliath - Size Does Matter
Topic:
How ATC Helps Aircraft of All Sizes Avoid Wake Turbulence
Speaker(s):
Air Traffic Controllers
Brief Description:
It can be intimidating in our small general aviation aircraft to share airspace with the "Larges" and the Heavies". Those concerns are valid, wake turbulence is a real thing. In this class, we will explore the methods ATC uses to help aircraft of all sizes avoid this big risk inherent in aviation. This presentation will be given by controllers from Centers, TRACONs, and Towers. There will be time for Q&A.
