The FAA identifies errors involving runways as one of the “Top 5” safety issue in the aviation system. This is due to the potential for catastrophe, and the frequency with which it happens. These incidents involve everyone from Student Pilots to Airline Transport Pilots. Participants in this class will learn then specifics behind the statistics and methods to avoid becoming one of them. This presentation will be given by controllers from Centers, TRACONs, and Towers. There will be time for Q&A.
