Brief Description:

FAASTeam Lead Representative Rod Thrasher will present a seminar on Risk Management and Aeronautical Decision Making. We will see importance of learning and understanding effective ADM skills. Despite all the changes in technology to improve flight safety, one factor remains the same: the human factor which leads to errors. It is estimated that approximately 80 percent of all aviation accidents are related to human factors and the vast majority of these accidents occur during landing and takeoff.

Directions to Venue:

From Route 611, turn onto Hangar Lane. Do not take Airport Drive to South side of the airport from 611. Go through the gate on Hangar Lane (code 1227 if closed). Take the road to the second big hangar and park behind that hangar in the marked spots. Use grass areas for overflow parking. The club is the small building just past the second large hangar. Walk in gravel/grass towards ramp fence. Enter the club building at the door facing the ramp and fence.
