Title:
Never Judge a Book by its Cover-Special Airworthiness Info Bulletins-Surprise Surprise
Topic:
Covering what SAIBs, InFOs, ACS and NTSB Safety Alerts are. Surprise, Surprise video series
Date and Time:
Friday, July 22, 2022, starting at 13:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
James Dangerfield
Brief Description:

During this briefing we will start with SAIBs. They are just one step down from an AD. They may lack the charisma of their big brother the Airworthiness Directive, but they cover some very important territory. We will also cover Safety Alert for Operators that tend to indicate it is for pilots, because pilots are operators, right?  We will cover InFOs that are typically written for large aircraft operators (Air Carriers), however, some of them are really good information for all of us.  Another one is Airworthiness Concern Sheets (ACS) that are issued by the Aircraft Certification Office (ACO) when there is the appearance of a problem.  Finally we will cover NTSB Safety Alerts.  Time permitting we will also cover the Surprise Surprise video series.
