Brief Description:

In addition to reviewing recent helicopter accident data, these seminar will focus on the Human Factors Paradigm. We will look at the Unsafe Acts that are the Active Failures. We will also discuss how Preconditions for Unsafe Acts, Unsafe Supervision, and Organizational Influences influences affect the safety of air operations.  The seminar will also include case studies - "The Vertical Dimension" and "Rescue Gone Wrong."
