Brief Description:

There is a lot of confusion around where where a Remote Pilot can legally fly. No Drone Zone Signs, LAANC, Class-G airspace, near airports, and AMA airfields. We will do our best to address each of these areas to help the community continue to fly safe.

WINGS credit based on information that can be used by both manned and unmanned aircraft operators from this presentation. At this time only manned (Part 61) pilots are able to use and apply this credit towards a basic level of WINGS proficiency [14 CFR 62.56(e)]. For UAS Remote Pilots, WINGS credit will stay in your account history even if not a Part 61 pilot. WINGS credit for UAS pilots is presently under review by the FAA. Questions?
