Preventing Wrong Way Takeoffs

The FAA Notice entitled:
Increased Surveillance and Testing of Surface Movement Operations
published on September 30, 2009, provides information placing increased significance during ground operations. This notice aims to help
prevent wrong way takeoffs
by identifying known contributing factors and by promoting pertinent operating procedures and training efforts. Please read this Notice in its entirety at:
