The Federal Aviation Administration, Air Traffic Organization, asks that you make a special effort to check for new Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs). This is an important part of planning for every flight, and is especially important in Alaska through November 15, 2009.
A review of aircraft intercept procedures as listed in the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), Chapter 5, Section 6, is also recommended at this time. The AIM can be found on-line at: http://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/ATpubs/AIM/
