The Rochester FSDO Repair Station meeting for 2012 will be held in conjunction with the Rochester WINGs 2012 event and is scheduled for Friday, June 8th, 2012 at the Greater Rochester International Airport.
The meeting will consist of four (4) hours of training specific to managers and employees of 14 CFR Part 145 repair stations. Training will be presented by various industry experts and FAA inspectors. Topics include repair station policies and procedures, rosters, suspected unapproved parts, human factors, non destructive inspection and more! The course meets the IA renewal requirements mandated by 14 CFR Part 65.93(a)(4) for (4) four hours of training. The course also meets the training requirements of the FAAs Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMT) Awards Program in accordance with AC 65-25 as revised and counts for 4 Hrs of maintenance training in the program. Attendees who pre-register will automatically receive credit for attending.
NOTE: Those attendees who endeavor to obtain (8) eight hours of creditable IA refresher training can attend any combination of meetings at the IA Refresher Course or the Repair Station meeting that total 8 hours of training.

Saturday, June 9 activities will include a full day of seminars of interest to pilots, students and aviation enthusiasts. The day will be filled with exciting learning stations for all ages, career path seminars, avionics demonstrations, guided bus tours of runways and taxiways, new aircraft for sale, flight instruction for credits in FAA WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program, great food (including a fly-in breakfast sponsored by the Civil Air Patrol and lunch from Nick Tahou’s Hots) as well as hundreds of door prizes and many more activities.
