Jill attended a previous seminar at East Hill Flying Club and her contributions were so on point and valuable we asked her to return as a presenter. This will be a guided discussion format with a focus on pre-flight planning and preparation. This area of the flight operation is often rushed and under-regarded but is cited in over 80% of accident analysis. Pre-flight includes everything from a weather watch starting a week before a planned trip, to evaluating your personal fitness and acuity on the day of the flight. The attached "3-P" paradigm for analyzing and mitigating risk is a very effective tool.

East Hill Flying Club is a 141 flight school training from sport pilot (in a new Flight Design CT-LSA) to multi-engine ATP (in a shared Duchess) The facilities are air-conditioned and there are goodies after the show. The CT-LSA and Aspen Equipped Skyhawk are available for a tour. Hopefully a glass panel Cirrus SR-22 will be on site for you to view by the time of this seminar.

Directions: Follow Route 13 North from Ithaca under two overpasses. The next light is Warren Road, turn left (watch for airport signs) Your first right (about a mile) is Brown Road. On the airport, pass the airlines and when the road returns to two lanes, East Hill Flying Club is on your left.
